Savory French Loaf

Have you ever tried a savory loaf? It’s a classic French dish! Delicious with a salad or as an appetizer, it’s usually baked with tuna or ham. In this recipe, we made it vegan with delicious TUNO and The neat Egg!

Ingredients

  • 1 can TUNO in Spring Water, drained
  • 3 vegan neat Eggs, prepared using instructions on package
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ cup green olives, cut in half
  • ½ cup vegan feta, diced
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F°.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and baking powder.
  3. Add The neat Egg and olive oil. Keep stirring while adding the plant-based milk.
  4. Mix until smooth. If needed, add extra milk.
  5. Add feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, green olives and TUNO.
  6. Grease a loaf tin, sprinkle a bit of flour and pour in batter.
  7. Cook for about 45 min. When the tip of a knife comes out dry, the loaf is baked.
