Caffeine Free Coffee Flavored Ice Cream – No Ice Cream Machine Needed!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups full-fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup Kaffree Roma
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or any other liquid sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the coconut milk over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the Kaffree Roma granules and maple syrup. Stir well to dissolve the granules.
  3. Add the Kaffree Roma mixture to the warm coconut milk and stir until well combined.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a shallow dish or a loaf pan. Make sure it’s wide enough to allow for easy freezing.
  6. Cover the dish or pan with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the freezer.
  7. Allow the ice cream mixture to freeze for about 2 hours, or until the edges start to firm up.
  8. Remove the dish from the freezer and use a fork or a whisk to vigorously stir the mixture, breaking up any ice crystals that have formed. This step helps to create a smoother texture.
  9. Return the dish to the freezer and repeat step 8 every 30 minutes for the next 2 to 3 hours. This helps to break up the ice crystals and create a creamy consistency.
  10. Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, you can serve it immediately or transfer it to an airtight container and freeze for an additional 1 to 2 hours to firm up.
  11. When serving, allow the ice cream to sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften before scooping.
  12. Serve the vegan coffee ice cream in bowls or cones, and enjoy!

Note: If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, you can increase the amount of Kaffree Roma granules. Additionally, you can customize your ice cream by adding chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or any other desired mix-ins during the last few minutes of freezing.
