Kaffree Roma Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownies with the neat egg

Directions

Prepare the Chocolate Chip Dough  

1. In a large bowl of a stand mixer, beat together the butter and sugars until creamy.
2. Add the neat egg, and vanilla and mix until incorporated.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, salt, and baking soda.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix just until combined, do not over mix.
5. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Prepare the Brownie Batter

1. In a mixing bowl, mix together the butter and the sugars.
2. Add the neat eggs and vanilla and stir by hand until combined.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, Kaffreee, salt, and baking powder.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix by hand until all the dry ingredients are moistened and incorporated.
5. Stir in the chocolate chips.

For the Oven

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Spray an 8 x 8 or a 9 x 9 glass baking dish with cooking spray.
3. Spread the brownie batter in the bottom of the dish.
4. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough over the brownie batter.
5. Bake for 35-40 minutes and allow to cool before serving.
