Kaffree Roma Gingerbread Latte

A whole latte joy!  The Kaffree Roma gingerbread latte is a favorite holiday cookie and a cozy drink all in one!

Makes 1 Serving

Ingredients

Gingerbread Syrup

  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 ½ tablespoons molasses
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ vanilla bean scraped

 

Latte

  • 2 teaspoons Kaffree Roma
  • 1 ½ cups plant-based milk
  • 1 tablespoon gingerbread syrup
  • Cinnamon for dusting

Directions

  1. On the stovetop, in a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine all syrup ingredients.
  2. Heat and stir until sugar is completely dissolved.  Syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  3. In another pan on the stovetop or in the microwave, heat the milk to the preferred drinking temperature, do not boil.  Alternatively, use a milk frother to heat and froth the milk.
  4. Add the Kaffree Roma granules and 1 tablespoon of the gingerbread syrup to your favorite mug.
  5. Pour ¼ of the heated milk into the mug and stir until the granules are dissolved.  Pour in the rest of the milk.
  6. Dust the top of the latte with cinnamon and enjoy!
