neat French Toast

Try this delicious vegan version of French toast for your next breakfast, made with the gluten-free neat egg. With a hint of cinnamon and vanilla, this french toast is extremely easy to create, simply dip a piece of the bread into the below mixture. Top with powdered sugar or syrup and pair with fruit for a sweet start to your day.

Ingredients

  • 1 neat eggΒ (1 tbsp of neat egg powder mixed with 2 tbsp of water)
  • Bread, your preference
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or another variety) and whisk

Directions

  1. Prepare neat egg with 1/2 tbsp of vanilla.
  2. Dip bread into the mixture.
  3. Cook over medium heat in coconut oil or a suitable non-stick skillet.
  4. Serve immediately with a side of fruit.
